Ruma - Šabac highway: A turning point in infrastructure development
The long-awaited Ruma – Šabac highway was officially opened for traffic, marking a significant step forward in the realization of the Fruškogorsk Corridor project. This section of the highway, 21 km long, plays a key role in the development and connection of Srem, Mačva, western Serbia and Vojvodina, improving access and efficiency of transport in this region.
The company “Unipromet” actively participated in the realization of this ambitious project, proudly emphasizing its contribution through the installation of 125,000 m of protective road fence, 50,000 m of wire fence and 3,000 m of pedestrian fence. We also installed 2,814 m2 of noise protection panels, which further improved the safety and quality of travel on this route.
This infrastructure project will not only contribute to regional development, but also facilitate passenger and freight traffic.
