The goal of installing protective wire fences is to raise the level of traffic safety by preventing the crossing of animals and people across roadways and railroad tracks.
They are placed on both sides along the entire length of roads/railways with controlled access, intended for high-speed traffic (highways, i.e. roads for motor traffic, high-speed railways).
The wire fence is installed in accordance with the standards: SRPS U.S4.102; SRPS U.S4.106 and SRPS U.S4.112.
The wire fence consists of farm or industrial mesh with a height of 1600/1800/2000mm, tension posts driven at a distance of 25m and central posts at 3.1m. The mesh is attached to the posts by means of hooks on the posts and auxiliary tension wires.
All wire fence elements are protected from corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing according to the EN ISO 1461 standard. The minimum zinc coating is defined by this standard in accordance with the thickness of the elements. In the case of knitting, tensioning and binding wires, the coating should be at least 200 gr/m2.
