As part of its continuous commitment to the community, the Unipromet Foundation, in cooperation with the “Zračak” Social Protection Center from Čačak, marked World Down Syndrome Day.

The activity was carried out with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of inclusion, equal opportunities, and support for people with Down syndrome, as well as creating an environment where everyone has their place and feels a sense of belonging to the community.

Socializing, smiles, and shared moments

As part of the celebration, a joint lunch was organized for 46 day-care service users and 15 employees of the “Zračak” institution. The event took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, with music, smiles, and genuine joy from all present.

Such encounters once again showed how much attention, togetherness, and small gestures are important in everyday life and how much they contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and solidarity.

We thank the “Roštilj kod Ćureta” restaurant and the band Željko Čpajak and Bojana Milekić, who, with their participation, donation, and support, contributed to making this day even more beautiful and meaningful for all participants.

Their contribution shows how much joint engagement can enrich and strengthen socially responsible initiatives.
