The “UNIPROMET” Foundation has supported the realization of the HUM-STEM International Summer School project
The most valuable ideas emerge when different knowledge, experiences, and worldviews come together. Guided by this idea, the International Summer School HUM-STEM was organized, bringing together students, professors, and researchers from various European countries at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak over the preceding period.
During six days of intensive work, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience, develop new ideas, and build international cooperation through lectures, workshops, and joint activities. The program focused on connecting STEM fields-science, technology, engineering, and mathematics-with the humanities, encouraging an interdisciplinary approach to contemporary challenges.
Education that fosters collaboration
Contemporary societal development requires experts who, in addition to technical knowledge, also understand the broader social context in which technology is developed and applied. This is precisely why HUM-STEM promotes an approach that connects different disciplines and encourages critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.
Through joint work and the exchange of experiences, participants were able to see how collaboration between technical and humanistic sciences can contribute to the development of sustainable, responsible, and innovative solutions that meet the needs of modern society.
Support from the “Unipromet” Foundation
Recognizing the importance of education, international cooperation, and investment in young people, the “Unipromet” Foundation supported the implementation of this project, contributing to an initiative that enables students and professors to acquire new knowledge, connect, and exchange experiences.
Support for the International Summer School HUM-STEM represents a continuation of the Foundation’s many years of successful cooperation with the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak. Through numerous joint initiatives, their shared commitment to the development of education, strengthening the academic community, and creating opportunities for younger generations has been confirmed.
The “The Power of Social Responsibility” series
Support for the International Summer School HUM-STEM is another example of how social responsibility can contribute to community development through investment in knowledge, education, and young people.
Through the series “The Power of Social Responsibility,” the “Unipromet” Foundation presents projects and initiatives that demonstrate that responsible business entails creating long-term value for society, whether through support for education, culture, family, healthcare, or the local community.
After all, when people, knowledge, and shared values come together, they lay the foundations for new opportunities, sustainable development, and a better future for the generations to come.
