Unipromet Contributed to the Development of the Danube Corridor
The new section of the Požarevac–Veliko Gradište–Golubac expressway, known as the Danube Corridor, has officially opened and been put into service. This marks another important step in improving road infrastructure and transport connectivity in eastern Serbia.
A total of 28 kilometers of new road were opened across Sections 2 and 3—from Bratinac near Požarevac to the roundabout in Veliko Gradište, and from Ponikve near Golubac to the Radoševac roundabout.
Modern and Safer Road Infrastructure
The new road is particularly important for connecting eastern Serbia with the main transport routes, as well as for the development of the local economy, tourism and other activities that depend on high-quality road infrastructure.
Unipromet also participated in the implementation of this project by supplying and installing road equipment, once again contributing to one of Serbia’s major infrastructure projects.
More Than 140,000 m of Road Equipment Installed
On the sections of the Danube Corridor where Unipromet was involved, significant quantities of equipment designed to protect road users and improve road safety were installed.
In total, the following were installed:
- 69,722 m of road safety barriers.
- 49,986 m of wire fencing.
- 23,416 m² of noise protection panels.
These elements represent an important part of the road infrastructure, helping to protect road users, control access to the road corridor and reduce the impact of traffic noise on the surrounding environment.
People Behind Every Project
Behind every kilometer of a constructed and equipped road are people—our teams, whose knowledge, experience and dedication contribute every day to the implementation of complex infrastructure projects.
From preparation and production, through logistics and coordination, to on-site installation, every stage of the process requires precision, responsibility and effective coordination. It is precisely this collaborative approach that enables the requirements of major infrastructure projects to be met efficiently and in accordance with defined quality standards.
For Unipromet, every project is an opportunity to demonstrate the expertise of its employees, its production capacities and its ability to meet the requirements of modern road infrastructure.
Quality from Production to Site
Our commitment to quality does not end with product delivery. It encompasses control and responsibility throughout the entire process—from preparation and production, through delivery organization, to professional installation and implementation on site.
With the opening of the new sections of the Danube Corridor, another important infrastructure project has become fully operational. Through its products and on-site work, Unipromet has made a valuable contribution to its successful implementation.
