A key part of our strategy is achieving decarbonization and climate neutrality through investments in renewable energy sources and the introduction of modern technologies. Reducing CO₂ emissions and maintaining market competitiveness represent an imperative for Unipromet.
Since September 19, 2025, our products such as steel protective systems, seam pipes, and noise protection panels proudly carry the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), developed and verified according to the international ISO 14025 standard, you can find them in the EPD Hub library.
The EPD provides measurable data on the environmental performance of our products throughout their entire life cycle, enabling comparison with other manufacturers and the setting of ambitious sustainability goals.
This recognition confirms our commitment to responsible production, process improvement, and environmental care, creating a safer and higher-quality environment for the community.
As part of our decarbonization strategy, we are focused on a gradual transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, primarily solar energy.
By using renewables, we not only reduce the intensity of CO₂ emissions but also achieve lower energy costs and improve business efficiency.
Since 2012, we have been actively developing and producing steel structures for solar power plants, investing in innovations and advanced technologies that contribute to environmental sustainability and the creation of an energy-responsible future.
Our goal is a 100% transition to renewable sources, in partnership with our subsidiary Noleko.

Responsibility towards the community means more to us than business success; it is a permanent commitment to creating positive changes in society. Guided by this idea, in 2022 we established the “Unipromet” Foundation and the “UNIbebe” Foundation.
The “Unipromet” Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for the socially vulnerable, care for children and youth, support science and education, invest in environmental protection projects, support cultural events, and initiatives of broader social importance, while the “UNIBebe” Foundation was created from the desire to support families and encourage births in the territory of the city of Čačak.
We have defined our organizational structure in a way that enables maximum efficiency in the functioning of all sectors within the company.
The highest management body and senior management play a key role in developing, approving, and updating the organization’s policies and goals related to sustainable development. The executive board bears full responsibility for the sustainable development strategy, in the same way as it manages the company’s overall business strategy.
The review of the sustainable development strategy is conducted in parallel with the company’s regular strategic processes, enabling consistency, alignment, and effective implementation of sustainability goals within the overall business.
Our ESG management is based on a clear strategy and long-term goals. We have introduced a non-financial reporting system and formed a team responsible for identifying and managing ESG risks and opportunities. We are committed to transparency and continuous monitoring of goal achievement to further strengthen the company’s position in sustainable development and responsible business.
