New Section of Miloš Veliki Highway Opened: Pakovraće to Požega
With the opening of the new section of the Miloš Veliki highway, running from Pakovraće to Požega, Western Serbia now has a modern roadway that significantly improves accessibility, safety, and regional connectivity with the rest of the country.
This route represents one of the most important infrastructure developments within the continued construction of Corridor 11, aiming to provide faster and more efficient links between Central and Western Serbia.
Unipromet – safety equipment for the Miloš Veliki highway
Unipromet, as one of the main contractors for road safety equipment, made a significant contribution to the successful implementation of this project.
In line with the highest technical standards and within the planned deadlines, our teams successfully delivered and installed:
-
Over 56 km of road safety barriers
-
Over 15 km of wire fencing
-
Over 4 km of pedestrian fencing
-
4,200 m² of aluminum noise barriers
-
1,200 m² of transparent noise barriers
Work Completed on a Technically Demanding Section
The work was carried out on a technically complex route that includes three key interchanges: Pakovraće, Krstac (Lučani), and Prilipac (Požega). Due to the terrain configuration and project complexity, successful execution of this section stands as a major engineering achievement.
We extend special thanks to our on-site teams, whose expertise, organization, and professional approach enabled us to complete all activities in line with investor expectations and project requirements.
Safety as the Foundation of Every Project
At Unipromet, safety is not the final stage—it is the foundation of every infrastructure solution we implement. Every new project is an opportunity for us to raise standards, strengthen trust with our partners, and contribute to safer and more efficient traffic in Serbia.
