The opening of the 31-kilometer Adrani–Preljina section marks another important step in the implementation of the Moravian Corridor, one of the most important infrastructure projects in Serbia. The new section represents an important transport link that will improve the connectivity of central Serbia, increase the safety of road users and contribute to more efficient transport of people and goods.

The Moravian Corridor is a project of national importance that, upon completion, will connect Corridor 10 and the “Miloš Veliki” highway, which will significantly improve the development of the economy, the accessibility of industrial zones and the quality of life of the population in the cities and municipalities through which it passes. Precisely because of its importance, each segment of this project requires a high level of quality, reliability and expertise.

Unipromet’s contribution to safer road infrastructure

Unipromet is proud to have contributed to the construction of modern transport infrastructure on this section through the delivery and installation of key road safety equipment.

On the Adrani–Preljina section, works were carried out that included 120 kilometers of steel guardrails and 3,764 m² of noise protection panels. These elements are an important part of any modern road because they contribute to the protection of all road users, reduce the consequences of traffic accidents and at the same time increase the quality of life of the population living in the immediate vicinity of the highway.

Steel guardrails are designed to meet the highest European standards when it comes to passive safety, while noise protection panels contribute to reducing the negative impact of traffic on the environment and creating a more pleasant living environment for local communities.
