Employee health - the foundation of our responsibility
At Unipromet, we believe that taking care of the health of our employees is key to the long-term success and well-being of all our team members.
For this reason, we have been successfully collaborating with nutritionist Sonja Nikačević for three years, who comes to our company every Thursday to provide individual consultations to employees and help them improve their eating habits.
All employees have the opportunity to make an appointment with Sonja and, depending on their goals – whether they want to reduce or increase body mass, improve general health or adapt their diet to specific health needs – they receive personalized menus.
During the consultation, they also agree on the dynamics of control reviews in order to monitor progress and achieve results in a healthy and sustainable way.
Accordingly, in the canteen of the “Unipromet” company, daily, in addition to standard meals, diet meals adapted to those who want to make positive changes in their diet are prepared.
“STRONG AS STEEL, HEALTHY TO THE CORE” series
In order to further support the healthy lifestyle habits of our employees, we launched the series “Strong as steel, healthy as dogwood”, through which we will deal with topics related to health prevention.
We started the first part of the series with a mini-campaign “WITH A NUTRITIONIST ON YOU”, during which our employees had the opportunity to ask Sonya questions about nutrition and find out how small changes can bring big benefits for their energy, health and general well-being:
- Cholesterol problems?
- How to recognize food intolerance?
- How much caffeine per day is optimal?
- How does alcohol affect metabolism?
- Are fried foods allowed?
- What are the good salts for the body?
- How to recognize hidden sugars?
